Introduction of KIRC

KoreaRoad Association
In July 2015, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea established the Korea International Road Center (KIRC) at the Korea Road Association (KROAD) with the purpose of providing support to Korean companies across the road sector to obtain greater opportunities in overseas market as well as to strength international cooperation.

KIRC is actively involved in the international road associations’ activities including PIARC, REAAA and the IRF. In addition, KIRC serves as the government liaison as they promote G2G interaction by actively supporting the road conference operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Currently, Korea is conducting official road conferences with the 6 countries including United States, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Germany and Japan.

In conjunction with road conferences, the KIRC also organizes the Knowledge and Experience Sharing Program for the development of Korean infrastructure for foreign government officials. In order to showcase Korea’s latest technology and products to foreign buyers, KIRC also organizes the Korean Pavilion and participates at some of more major road industry exhibitions in diverse regions with renowned Korean companies.
